Mixed Green Salad with Easy Poppy Seed Dressing



I won't give specific amounts for the salad, just the ingredients. You know how much your family eats, so plan accordingly.

Salad Ingredients:

Mixed salad greens
Tomatoes, sliced or grape tomatoes, cut in half
Sliced cucumbers
Kalamata olives, left whole or halved
Red or green onion, sliced thin
Feta cheese, crumbled or other cheese, grated
Basil, fresh or dried & crushed, sprinkled on top of salad
Real sea salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions: 
Assemble salad with all ingredients.

Easy Poppy Seed Dressing Ingredients:
1 c. organic avocado oil
2/3 c. unfiltered raw honey or pure organic maple syrup
1/3 c. raw apple cider vinegar (Whole Foods brand is good)
1 t. dry mustard
1 1/2 t. poppy seeds
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper

Dressing Directions: 
1. Place all ingredients in a 1-quart jar. 

2. Cap jar securely and shake to blend ingredients. 

3. Refrigerate until time to serve. 

4. Before serving, add salad dressing as desired and toss.
